Multicultural Week - June 14, 2026
14 June 2026
With great pride, we represented Bulgaria and the Bulgarian community of Ottawa–Gatineau at the official opening of Multiculturalism Week, organized by World Multicultural Festival, held at Ottawa City Hall on June 14, 2026.
Elena Aminkova, Board Member of the Bulgarian Community in Ottawa–Gatineau, delivered inspiring remarks highlighting the many contributions our community brings to the multicultural fabric of Canada’s capital. We were honoured to be invited — our sincere thanks to the organizers for an uplifting event featuring greetings from Mayor Mark Sutcliffe, Deputy Mayor Wilson Lo, ambassadors, official guests, and community leaders.
A beautiful celebration of the rich mosaic that makes Ottawa our home.
